His practice areas are: company law, corporate finance and corporate insolvency. His work involves all advisory and litigation aspects and covers areas such as mergers, acquisitions and disposals of companies, shareholder disputes, board and general meetings, bank securities, financial services and related commercial and professional negligence (accountants and solicitors). He has provided extensive advice for multi-nationals in the UK and further afield; United States, Europe and the Caribbean.

• Advising Medicare claimants in relation to the BAT Scheme of Arrangement.
• Advising loan stock trustee in relation to a substantial debt and equity restructuring of a major UK company and that company's flotation.
• Advising on "cross-border" amalgamations.
• Advising in relation to the reorganisation of a number of investment trusts.
• Advising the independent directors of Astec (BSR) in relation to the Section 459 Petition commenced by its institutional shareholders against Emerson.
• In relation to substantial multinational litigation in the US, UK and Jersey.
• Advising a broker in relation to its substantial dispute with its joint venture partner (recently settled).
• Advising a bidder in relation to the alleged triggering of pre-emption provisions, which has given rise to a writ action and a section 459 Petition.
